UID strives for total and complete customer satisfaction and understands that making a purchase is an important decision. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase then you may request a refund or exchange of your item.


UID accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days from the date of purchase or delivery of your item. You must ship and insure the returned item at your own expense within 7 days from the date of the requested return or exchange to UID. Returns and exchanges requested or made within 60 days from the date of purchase or delivery will be subject to a restocking/return fee of 20% of the original purchase price. Returns or exchanges requested more than 60 days from the original date of purchase or delivery will not be accepted.

Return Requirements

In order to receive a full refund of the purchase price described in this Return Policy, all item(s) must be: (1) returned or exchanged in new/unused condition, (2) returned with all accessories and parts securely packed in the original packaging, and (3) shipped and insured for the items value at your own expense within 7 days of requesting your return or exchange.

Shipped Items

If your shipped item from UID arrives damaged or defective you must notify and contact UID within 72 hours of delivery. Defects discovered after 72 hours will be subject to UID’s manufacturer warranty, if any. For any other issues regarding shipped items, please contact UID within 30 days of the date of purchase or delivery.

In-Home Delivery Items

You must notify and contact UID within 72 hours from an In-Home Delivery if your item is damaged, defective, or you are dissatisfied. Defects discovered after 72 hours will be subject to UID’s manufacturer warranty, if any.


Upon receipt of the returned item to UID, we will inspect your item immediately. UID will issue a refund in the original form of payment after inspection of the returned item within 7-10 days. With the exception of damaged and defective merchandise, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and return shipping or pickup fees may apply. If the original payment was made by cash or check, a certified refund check will be issued within 7-10 days of the item being returned to UID.


Special and custom orders are items that are manufactured by customer request or to customer’s specifications and are items that UID does not stock. Special and custom orders exceeding $1,000 require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Special and custom orders less than $1,000 require payment in full. Special or custom orders may not be returned or cancelled and are not subject to UID’s return policy.


UID warrants all items for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase or delivery to be free from any defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser. At its option, UID will repair or replace items with defects in material or workmanship within 1 year from the date of purchase or delivery, or cover the reasonable cost of repair. This warranty does not cover any damage that arises from normal wear and tear of your item and does not cover items that are sold “as is.” Damage or defects resulting from improper handling after the item is received or that arises from exposure to weather is not covered by this warranty. Damage or defects resulting from the use of detergents, abrasives, or harsh cleaning agents is not covered by this warranty.


UID’s warranty is void if any defect or damage arises from misuse, negligence, accident, and/or abuse; has been relocated, tampered with or is used for commercial purposes.


How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent? If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at

Our store is developed using WooCommerce. WooCommerce provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through WooCommerce’s data storage, necessary databases and the general WooCommerce application. Your data is stored on a secure server delivered using SSL or TSL. SSL Certificates establish an encrypted connection. The certificate also contains what is called the “subject,” which is the identity of the certificate/website owner. All transaction data is passed using this type of encrypted connection.


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe (transaction gateway) stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies: woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_ The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.
